Three customer time lines

There are three 'customer time lines': past, present and future.

Past customers are dormant. Your job is to wake them up.

Present customers are potential referrers. Your job is to ask them for referrals.

Future customers don't know how great you are yet. Your job is to create
awareness and to build new relationships with them.
