'How can I help?' is the foundation of successful marketing. Ask prospective and current customers this question. Then ask them again.
How can you improve their lives, offer a better service and make them happier? How can you stand out from the crowd?
People have a lot of stuff on their minds. Often, they won't have much to say. Make yourself available for feedback. Talk to your customers about your products / services. Don't get defensive. Your job is to listen.
Great companies do this. Then they take appropriate action. They end up with more customers, more money and a gold plated reputation.
